i love this book. it explains everything i wasn't able to to the canadians. that people actually really like Bush, think democrats are a rare species, vote pure republican. it's strange because he talks about places i have worked, lived and gone swimming. i mean he went to the high school i would have, if i had gone to public school. i haven't finished the book, but it does seem odd he doesn't acknowledge how marxist is view is... not as odd that these marxist views are currently the views of the upper class. i have the next three days off and my current plans are go to the nelson (art gallery, tomorrow) get my physical and tb test (annoying, also tomorrow) sand my floors (pain in the ass, flexible scheduling) play a decent hand of bridge (probably by tonight) get my wisdom tooth pulled (yes that's singular and ouchy) feel bad for myself after having said tooth pulled (tuesday and wednesday) install two new light fixtures and possibly a sink (tomorrow and wednesday) clean out the garage (spring cleaning but i do it in the summer, tomorrow) paint my entryway everytime i make lists like this, i feel like will ferrel in old school. 'maybe we'll go to home depot, i don't know if we'll have time, it's such a busy day'. i can't believe i think he is as funny as i do. keith and i have decided to move. he got a job in parkville, so we'll both be driving like 40-50 min to work and decided that it would be worth it to relocate. really worth it. problem is, our fixer upper house isn't fixed up yet. we've certainly got our work cut out for us. |
